For Jaylon Cruz, waiting for continues to be lengthy enough.
After missing his entire rookie season as a result of nasty college knee injuries, the Dallas Cowboys linebacker is on his way toward finally seeing game action in 2017.
"Personally i think much like me. I seem like me. I'm me," Cruz told USA TODAY's Tom Pelissero. "I am Jaylon Cruz. Prepared to play some ball Frank Thomas Jersey."
Considered a high-five draft talent, Cruz fell to Round 2 this past year among concerns over his fight with drop feet, caused by nerve damage endured as he hurt the knee within the 2016 Fiesta Bowl. Cruz continues to be putting on a brace within the knee, but Pelissero described him as flashing "downhill burst" in individual drills in this week's minicamp.
Cruz also displayed a "slight limp" and from time to time required to "have a beat ... to alter direction and accelerate," however the hope would be that the former Notre Dame star will get back full health insurance and may play a role this September -- a job that will grow with time.
"The nerve's regenerating, so I am doing great," Cruz stated. "It's all regulated God's timing."
There have been concerns at one stage that Cruz might never play again. Rather, they is seeing progress, only furthering hopes their second-round investment will at some point be a Cowboys fixture.
"He's beginning to exhibit that quickness and instincts," Dallas linebackers coach Matt Eberflus stated. "After which whenever we obtain the pads on him, we'll see his striking ability. We are looking forward to him."
While minicamp is stuffed with nonsensical narratives, this is not one of these. Smith's go back to the area would function as nothing under a significant achievement George Bell Jersey.
